This LED tactical grade flashlight is a work horse designed to provide unsurpassed illumination and maximum battery life. With it’s multi voltage regulator it can be run on a single rechargeable 3.7V 18650 or 2 disposable 3.0V CR123A = 6.0V or 2 rechargeable 3.6V RCR123A = 8.4V max charge. If you are out of one battery you can run it on the others listed so you are less likely to run out of battery power. The 3 mode is High, Low, Self Defense = emergency signal strobe.
We tested this light using the included Premium grade High capacity Japanese made 2400 mah 18650 and we got almost 6 hours of constant on at high setting before the power diminished substantially. Our Japanese made 18650 was still 3.7 volts!! We have never experienced such a long run time with such brightness. It is because our finest LED, high quality regulator and our finest quality 18650 battery are all working to perfection. We are seriously impressed with the performance of this kit.
The moderately textured deep reflector forms a tight defined center spot and a bright moon wash with minimal shadows for uniform illumination. The high energy efficiency of a genuine US made premium Q5 bin Cree XRE P4 LED insures maximum battery life. This Cree LED generates a much brighter and whiter colored light.
The lugged head and tail cap prevents this light from rolling off hard flat surfaces. The rim of the head is scalloped to increase striking force and damage when using it for self defense. We put a better quality switch into this light giving a smooth and reliable click. The charger we provide in this kit is a reliable quad slot DSD charger that can charge 2 RCR123A or 2 18650 at a time.
The fit and finish and precision threads are comparable to flashlights two to three times this price. Even the tube diameter fits 18650 batteries properly so they don’t rattle inside.
It runs at a cool temperature compared to many similar flashlights that tend to burn your hand up at 130 to 140 degrees. Cool running is a sign of efficiency.
