DESCRIPTION:  Hi Tech Compact Light Weight LED Headlight

135-degree pivot. Padded with EVA. Fully adjustable 3 strap harness.

BENIFITS: The collimator projects the light of the 1-watt LED creating a long throwing cool white beam. This smoothes out dead spots and shadow rings typical of other headlights. The 1-watt is a battery miser giving 7 hours with 3 standard AAA alkaline batteries. The second mode has 2 5mm LEDs which is the extreme high efficiency for survival. Having the battery compartment on the back of the head balances the headlight for hours of greater comfort. The pad on the back of the headpiece also adds to the comfort.  The 135-degree wide-angle durable pivot allows pointing the light from straight down all the way to 30 degrees up from straight forward. Most headlights only pivot 45 degrees. The top strap allows leaving the side straps looser so there is less pressure on the temples. The higher quality elastic straps are fully adjustable. The slots that hold the straps have a narrower slot so the straps don't pop out like other headlights. The sealed switch and the tight fitting rubber battery case cover make this light suitable for rainy conditions. In general this headlight is lighter weight yet made of more durable materials for longer service life.
