Both Head and tail of this light is designed with an aggressive scalloped bezel for self defense striking in both directions. Ventilation ribs to promote fast heat dissipation insuring that the LED runs cooler for longer life. This LED tactical grade flashlight is by far our finest compact LED flashlight to date. There are advantages to this light from head to tail as well as it's performance. Sure it's designed to satisfy professionals but this light is an affordable treat around the car or home or for every day work. Starting at the head, you will notice this light has a very effective 27mm diameter optical lens. We are also building this light with a premium quality 3 watt CREE LED to generate a whiter colored light. The tube section is textured with knurling to insure a firm grip. The matt black coating also aids as a none slip finish. The butt cap is also knurled for better grip and it contains the firmest, yet smoothest switch which we are proud to provide. It is built with a metal button for long durable service. Attached to the butt cap is the finest quality lanyard we've come across, so you'll never have to get broken hearted losing this wonderful light, even hanging over the side of a boat. Performance: This light's extra bright LED works exceptionally well with it's collimator generating approximately 120-150 lumens with a very nice long distance throw. Now for the surprise.
On just 3 standard readily available alkaline AAA batteries, this light runs blinding bright approximately 1 1/2 hours to 50 % brightness and then provides 4 days (96 HOURS constant on!!) in survival mode. This long moderate brightness stage is plenty of light to walk around the house and see down halls and stair wells or down a trail in the woods with eyes that are adjusted to the dark. If the light was used for a healthy 4 hours each evening it gives you usable light for almost a month of evenings. It is a great light to keep in your car, travel luggage, tool box, or go to emergency kit. Black nylon belt holster included.
