Instructions:
How to install the Solar Motion Detector Light

Upon opening the box make sure you have all the contents.
    -The main light unit with motion detector.
    -The solar panel with cord attached.
    -A bag or hardware including screws and mounting material.



First step in mounting is to locate the screw on the bottom of the main unit.



Unscrew it and slide the back panel down, then remove the back panel.







Now with just the back panel you can find a location for your light. Use the hardware included and place 4 screws to secure it.



Take the back panel and use the screws supplied to mount the back panel to the wall or other area. With that secure, you can take the main unit and put the top in first then push in the bottom.



With the main unit on the back panel the screw hole on the bottom will line up and you will be able to put the screw back in.



There are two ways you can mount the solar panel. An important note in finding a location is to pick a spot that will receive light to charge the unit. Also it cannot be too far away, it has to be close enough so that you can still plug the solar panel into the main light.

The first way is to simply find a location and screw it in to secure it.



The second way is to use the supplied hardware. Using the “L” bolt install it through the bottom of the solar panel.





Then insert the plastic bracket on the other end of the bolt.



Then put on the wing nut to secure the clamp. Use the rubber stopper to protect the end of the bolt. Now with this you can clamp the solar panel to a flat area.



With the solar panel mounted, you can now move the panel. It is important to have the solar panel face direct sunlight to receive the most light, so the unit can charge.



Next plug in the solar panel to the main unit.



On the motion detector part of the unit, there are three dials. The first dial on the right says “LUX” which means when the outside light is at a certain brightness then, the light will turn on. The middle one will determine how long the light will stay on. And the third dial “SENS” will change the sensitivity of the motion sensor.



Make sure the switch on the bottom of the main light is turned “ON”.
